Welding technical event in Magdeburg

On October 11th, a highly informative event took place on the premises of the Magdeburg Welding Technical School (SLM), which was organized by the SLM in collaboration with Magdeburger Schweisstechnik GmbH (MSS). The focus of this event was on increasing productivity through optimized arc processes and the use of robots and cobots in welding technology. We presented the powerful ToolDrives Basic and Compact Line modules in action. Our live demonstrations from the “Material Removal” area received particular attention, showing visitors the impressive possibilities of modern robot technology. With two Elite Cobots of the type CS612 and CS66, the processes of deburring, brushing and grinding with the ToolDrives processing units were impressively demonstrated to the trade visitors. This work is of crucial importance because it is directly linked to the welding technology and supports the welding process upstream and downstream. The event not only offered an excellent opportunity to get to know the latest developments and innovations in welding technology, but also enabled direct exchange with experts from the industry.
